Grégoire Saucy leaves F3 for endurance and McLaren

After six years spent in the antechambers of F1, the Jura driver will compete in the World Endurance Championship next year in the new LMGT3 category.
Grégoire Saucy is taking a new turn in his racing career. After six years in the antechamber of Formula 1 (F4 then F3), the last two of which were in the FIA Formula 3 world championship, the Jura native changed disciplines and moved into the world of endurance. He will compete in the World Endurance Championship next year at the wheel of a McLaren in the LMGT3 category.
This is the old LMGTE (Le Mans Grand Tourisme Endurance) category which is disappearing in favor of cars meeting GT3 regulations. Grégoire Saucy should therefore take part in one of the most prestigious races in the world next June. “This will be my first participation in the legendary 24-hour race of Le Mans,” rejoices the 23-year-old Jura driver on social networks. His season will be made up of eight major races and a prologue starting in February in Qatar.
